Summer reading kickoff!

Announcing the beginning of our Summer Reading Program!

If you aren't familiar summer reading is a staple of libraries across the country. It's meant to get kids stoked on reading and keep up the literacy skills they built through the school year

BVPL will have a ton of programming for all ages from toddlers to adults with a variety of great prizes up for grabs!

Come to our kickoff and check out the Salida Circus in McPhlemy Park, just across the street from our library!

BV Rec Youth Camp!

Registration is now OPEN for BV Rec's Youth Adventure Camp this summer!

Ages: 6-12
Cost: $80/session
Dates: Monday-Thursday, 1:00-4:00pm
Session 1: July 17-20 | Session 2: July 24-27
Location: BV Community Center

Registration Deadline: Monday, July 10 for Session 1; Monday, July 17 for Session 2
Minimum 8 Participants & Maximum 24 Participants per Session

Spend a week with BV REC and experience cool activities, some new and some favorites. We have a lot of fun in store this summer: sports, hikes, crafts, exploration, field trips, and each lead to a new adventure.
