Hello friends. It’s been a minute because, well…life happens. 🫣
Seems like just yesterday we were having our Solstice Tea Gathering and now it’s mid-July!!!
But that’s exactly what happened. Our Solstice event was magical and so uplifting and quite frankly, an enchanting time at the Bloomery!
Then, vacation the next week with our granddaughter and family. We had a blast and it was full of laughs, swimming, sand castles and our inaugural roadtrip with our (new to us) RV! So many adventures ahead.
Back to the grind Monday, when my Mark called me confused, calling me asking me why our contractor was at our house and other odd things we had just talked about before I left for the gym.
A brief hospital stay, with tons of tests to rule out stroke, etc and we are back home.
Fast forward to today July 11 and Mark appears fully recovered, with more follow up appts coming and hopefully more answers.
Such a scary event to put into perspective what is truly important. 💜 He truly is one of a kind and the reason I am able to do what I love and grow these beautiful flowers.
With that said, I am behind and the flowers don’t care!
The flowers are blooming, rows need weeding, flowers need pinched & corralled, everything needs mulched and my next batch of seedlings need planted and so much more!
As a one woman show, taking a week off is difficult but make it 3 weeks and it’s damn near impossible.
But the flowers are here and ready to make you smile. 😊
So look for fresh flowers in the Flower House after Noon today, July 11th! But, ignore the messy fields and half-done decor.
Oh and if you like to get your hands dirty, come join me. Helpers are always welcome (comes with free tubers and flowers too 😉
