We are absolutely over the moon with the day we had!

So much thanks go out to everyone that participated in today’s Community Day!

To all the attendees, parade participants, vendors, performers, volunteers and commitee members. Thank you!

This event is such a joy for all of us! It takes a lot of work but we truly believe it is such a special day for everyone in our community!

We would love to keep this going next year and beyond! And we can do that with the help of our community! If anyone wants to volunteer, join the committee or make donations to the Buckfield Community Events Committee we can keep this going. With budget cuts this will be the last year we will be able to keep this event going with town funding alone.

Are you planning on attending the Buckfield Labor Day Parade and Community Day celebration? Want to be close to the festivities? Well then we have the perfect parking opportunity for you!!

The Buckfield High school National Honors society is offering $10 ‼️VIP‼️ parking at the High School!! A limited amount of “VIP” spots are available, so it’s first come first serve. Come help support the National Honors Society!!

Tomorrow is the big day!

The 2025 Buckfield Community Day kicks off at 9am with a parade through town starting at the town office and ending at Buckfield Jr/Sr High School

At the high school festivities kick off at 10am!

We will have over 25 vendors, three food trucks, farmers market, bounce house, dunk tank, 50/50 drawing and MORE!

We will have live entertainment all day from Cosmic Creation, Tickles the Clown, Fiskars Cutting and The 3Wheelers!

Best of all this event is FREE to attend!

The weather looks amazing and we hope you can join us for Community day!

We are just a few days away from Community Day and we are so very excited! Join us Monday, September 1st!

This is our biggest event of the year and we hope you can all join us!

Kicking off our day is a parade through town with floats, teams and much much more!

The parade will kick off at 9am starting at the town office and make its way down Turner Street! We will have an MC at the library announcing all of our parade participants!

It will then take a right onto High Street before meeting onto Morrill Street where it will march up to Buckfield Jr/Sr High School.

At the end is where the festivities begin!

Community Day is right around the corner!!

Join us Monday, September 1st for Buckfield Community Day!

The day kicks off with a parade leaving the Buckfield Town Office and headed towards Buckfield Jr/Sr High

Once we get to BJSHS the festivities begin!

This year we have OVER 25 vendors, makers, bakers and MORE setting up for you to check out!

3 food trucks!

4 live performances including Tickles the Clown who will be on hand all day for entertainment!

Also a farmers market, dunk tank, bounce house, 50/50 raffle and so SO much more!!

We hope to see you all Monday, September 1st!

Along with great entertainment and vendors we will also be welcoming three amazing food trucks!

Cruzin Slice will be back serving up amazing specialty pizzas!

Mr. Sea's Lobster Pound & Fry Shack will be on hand serving some delicious sea food!

Lucky Cat Coffee Truck will be there serving local Maine coffee, bubble waffles and BOBA!

We have something super fun at this years Community Day!

New this year we will have a dunk tank! And we want volunteers!

Sports coaches, teachers, town staff or anyone willing to take the plunge! (18+)

If you want to take a dip this year please reach out and we will get you in the hot seat. Or. Wet seat.

Our entertainment for this year’s Community Day is set and we are so excited!

Starting out the day at 10:15am, back by popular demand, is Cosmic Creation! Cosmic Creation is a fusion dance group including belly dancing, aerial, fire dancing and hula hooping

Next up we have the amazing Tickles the Clown! Tickles will be on hand all day entertaining the crowd with a stage performance at 11:30am

Up next at 12:15pm is local singer/songwriter Fiskars Cutting. Bringing a fresh mix of songs and storytelling

Finally we close out the day with a beach party featuring Surf Rock band The 3Wheelers!

With school right around the corner, in fact, the day after Community Day! Our friends at Faith Bible Chapel will be handing out school supplies at this years event!

To help we have set up a donation box at the Buckfield Town Office for school supply drop off!

If you are out and about and find yourself picking up an extra pad of paper, box of crayons or a pack of pencils. Consider putting it in the drop box to help supply kids with essential materials to help them learn!

A message from our committee chair:

“I'm chairman of the Buckfield Community Events Committee, we are in the process of planning this years festivities for Labor Day and we need help to make it happen. Four people just can't pull this off. We meet now every Monday at 6:30pm at Buckfield town office”
