I have to say I have done a lot in my 45 years. Writing has always been my passion and I thought I was going to write or announce crime stories for the news, but after my husband was killed and a reporter stood in my face waiting for a reaction - I knew that I could never do that to someone else.
For the past 8 years I have been debating about getting my PsyD in psychology because it kept calling me, but I didn't want to go back to school after already having a successful event planning business. I created the non-profit, The Stacy Jewel Foundation, to help people who have lost loved ones and found myself more interested in helping people than planning weddings and birthdays. One day, I woke up with an overwhelming feeling that my purpose was calling and I needed to answer.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications & Journalism and a Master's degree focused in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. I am a certified CARC and currently going to school to get my PsyD in psychology from Midwestern University. I no longer do weddings and birthdays, instead I now plan retreats, seminars and conferences that promote self awareness, health & motivation. I am well rounded and have been through more things than most people realize. I am not an open book, but I am honest, reliable, creative and will slowly turn pages of my story as I get to know you.
So, I get up daily and do this thing called life hoping to help, inspire, build and leave a legacy!
