Not much can make you happier than pleasing a customer on their first visit to Breakers. We received the following review of our establishment and needless to say, it made our day!
Trip Travelers
5 stars! Yesterday New
We had to drive to Clarksville on business, so Jolie Fleur and I decided to ride along to make it a short day roadtrip! After Keith completed his work we headed home but we had taken the side roads rather than the I-40 insanity corridor. I was looking for a place we had never been for lunch, searched the areas we would be traveling. I found two different marinas, and decided to try this one, The Breakers! It wasn't too far off from our plan route and boy are we glad we did. I had called ahead to see if they had covered out door seating which night allow us to bring Jolie Fleur, the guy on the phone said yes, as long as our pet was on a leash. So that was all I needed to hear, we were in! When we arrived we were so impressed on how nice the the entire area was kept and very clean. It a bit of a walk to the end of the marina where the restaurant is located, but, we had been in the car for a good while, so the walk was great to stretch our legs and Jolie Fleur 's as well. When we walked up to the out door dining area, all I can say is WOW! An open air bar area, the perimeter was covered over the tables but the center area was open if you wanted to be seated there as well. Then the stage area was just amazing. Covered mostly so should it rain the band had cover. Very well thought out plan, for sure. Our server was quick to greet and extremely friendly. She even offered to bring Jolie Fleur a bowl of water! So I would say very "dog friendly" if you travel with your pet. Our food was delicious and well prepared. We really enjoyed the environment even though we did feel a few rain drops blow on us. We stayed to listen to the band fir a bit but with the impending weather we had to leave so we could make it home safely. As we were leaving the owner or manager walked up to us and greeted us, asked if we enjoyed our visit and if we had been there before, he thought he recognized Keith. But we let him know this was our first time but we would definitely be back. What I have learned, when your on the road, even for business, you can still make it an adventure and find a sweet little gem of a place like The Breakers Marina! If you're in the area, on land or water, you need to check it out. They also have a great band line up on the weekends!
Thank you so much for your very kind words and we hope to see you again soon!
