Why I’m Not Afraid to Say I’m Still Learning

As a wedding planner, I know I don’t have all the answers yet—and I’m okay with that.

That’s why I keep reading, keep growing, and keep saying yes to new experiences. Every wedding teaches me something, and I never want to lose that hunger to improve. The moment I start thinking I’ve got it all figured out, or that everything needs to go exactly the same every time, is the moment I stop being the wedding planner my couples deserve.

Every wedding is different. Every couple is unique. And my job is to make sure your personality, your story, and your dream shine. It’s not about me—it’s about you.

And here’s the truth: I might not always be the perfect planner for everyone. Sometimes, a couple needs something I’m not fully equipped to provide yet—and that’s okay too. If I ever feel I’m not the right fit, I’ll tell you honestly, and even help you find someone who is. Because your day should be perfect for you, even if I’m not the one to plan it.

That said, when you choose me, you’re choosing someone who will go to bat for you. Whether it’s helping you navigate tricky family dynamics, or dealing with unexpected hiccups (like a drunk uncle getting out of hand), I’ll do everything I can to protect your peace and make sure you don’t feel a single ripple. I might not know everything, but I’ll figure it out—and make sure you’re still smiling.
