A MESSAGE FROM CHEF KATHY:
We started Gumbeaux Cajun Catering Company in January of 2021 during COVID and had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. I had a passion for Cajun cooking and wanted to share it with others, so our son suggested we start this business. Our venture turned out to be very rewarding and successful, but now it’s time to move on. We want to make more time for family, friends and travel, so we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations on January 1, 2026.
I would like to thank all our customers, followers and friends for the great food and memories created over the past 5 years. Thank you to everyone who attended our pop-ups at the The Renegade Kitchen BCS, Old Bryan Marketplace and Aquatic Greens Farm. Also, a big Thank You to the Texas A&M University decision-makers who sampled our food at the Vendor Showcases on campus and hired us to cater luncheons and other events. The positive reviews on social media and compliments in person during events were a big boost and helped more than you know. We appreciate you all and will see you somewhere down the road!
