This sweet couple wanted a sunset wedding, and we think they timed it perfectly! On March 22, 2025 Camila Fuentes and Kyle Spurgeon exchanged vows in their beautiful outdoor wedding at Barnside Place. The Watch Party for our homegrown talent John Foster (Benoit) on American Idol was held last night at Barnside Place! With 200 of his family and friends in attendance, we found out HE’S GOING TO HOLLYWOOD!!!
We are so proud of this young man! He’s already a star in our westside community, and we hope he feels the love!! Good luck, John Foster, and thanks for the autograph. ❤️❤️❤️

When your fiancé is from Wisconsin, but you are from Louisiana, you treat your guests to a reception befitting a Bayou Bride! Miss Emily Reed became Mrs. Aldan McNeill on March 15, 2025, and held her reception at Barnside Place. From the New Orleans Style Jazz Band, to the second line, to the Boudin balls and shrimp cocktail hour appetizers, followed by a sit-down meal of Louisiana specialties, friends and family were treated to the best of the bride’s home state cultural and culinary delights!! The bride provided entertainment for the “kids” as well, in the form of play swords for fencing and dueling. The big “kids” seemed to enjoy the games as well. 😉🙌Congrats Mr. and Mrs. McNeill, and thanks for choosing our venue for your special day! 💒❤️💒

The wedding of Miss Kaylee Gleason to Mr. Jacob Henderson was held at Barnside Place on Saturday, March 8, 2025. We love it when the bride’s vision comes to life exactly as she planned it! Twice!! Originally to be held outdoors, the ceremony had to be moved indoors because of the weather. The decor was beautiful, and the bride was stunning, just as it was

The rain didn’t stop the joyful celebration, though, as this happy couple was surrounded by loving friends and family! Here are a few pics from their special day. January 25, 2025 was the wedding day of Theresa Thibodeaux and Chad Jenkins at Barnside Place! The couple exchanged vows at sunset in front of the Barnside Chapel with all their friends and family in attendance. Guests enjoyed a lively reception complete with a live band, an on-site photographer and a caricature artist for guests! Last Saturday, October 19, 2024 was the wedding day of Miss Lexi Braud to Mr. John McCrory at Barnside Place! The couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony at 6:00 in the evening, and the reception was held in the main hall. The event was catered by The Crawfish Hole, and the bride’s godfather, Mr. Darrell Thompson. The DJ was Mr. Jude Quebedeaux. This beautiful bride and her handsome groom celebrated the night away, ending with a send off through a path of sparkler wands waved by family and friends.
