Sometimes life throws you curve balls, and you have to make the best adjustments you can! This sweet couple, Tabitha Hebert and Jaime Martin, planned their wedding and reception for December but had to postpone their reception for family reasons. Finally, on March 7, 2026, they were able to celebrate their union with family and friends! Here are some photos of their joyful celebration! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Martin. ❤️

Newlyweds Brooke Thompson and Tayden Haydel chose Barnside Place to host their wedding ceremony and reception on February 21, 2026. We only got a few candid pics of the “before” and “after”s, but we wanted to share the beautiful moments that we captured of their wedding day! Congrats to this lovely bride and her handsome groom. 🌸🎀💝 On January 17, 2026, Manda and Doren Daigle celebrated the upcoming arrival of baby girl Sophie Marie! Hosted by family and friends, this baby shower was “butterfly” themed and love inspired. We can’t wait to meet her when she makes her debut in March. This little butterfly is on her way!! 💞💓💖🎀

Our first wedding of the season was February 1st, 2026! The marriage of Miss Erin Phillips to Mr. Christian Jackson had to be moved inside as it was the coldest day of the year so far!!
As the saying goes, “Cold hands yield warm hearts,” and this was a truly warm-hearted occasion. ❤️ Congrats to the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson!! Here are a few photos of this cold but oh so happy day. 💒

Occasionally, as the owners of a party venue, we get to use it for our own family events! On Saturday, January 24, we hosted a baby shower for our son and daughter-in-law who are expecting a baby girl in March. Even though the weather was terrible, lots of friends and family showed up to celebrate with us. We are so grateful for all of the love!! 💕 🎀

This is our last post from 2025, but we just had to share the vision of Megan Severand, the decorator and party planner for the annual Toy Drive and Christmas Party sponsored by Attorney Burgundy Hammond (Mitchell) at Barnside Place. On December 20th our venue was transformed into a winter wonderland for this elegant affair! These are pre party pics that exemplify what can be done with our “blank slate” venue! We hardly recognized it ourselves! 😳😍🎄

Our last wedding of 2025 at Barnside Place was a special one. This bride and groom were once high school sweethearts!! ❤️ Melissa Medlin and “Coo” Pierce exchanged vows on December 12 with a host of family, friends, and grandchildren in attendance. We are so happy for this beautiful couple who are sweethearts once again! ⛪️

Thanksgiving! We are thankful that Miss Jade Falcon and Mr. Mason Landry chose Barnside Place to host their beautiful sunset wedding on November 22, 2025. Officiated by Mr. Joe Richard and coordinated by wedding planner Mrs. Shawn Tassin, the couple were married at a little after 4:00 PM surrounded by their family and friends. The reception was catered by Top Notch Catering with delicious food and drinks that helped the guests dance the night away! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Landry. May you always be thankful for each other and remember the love you felt on your wedding day. 🫶💒

Love is in the air at Barnside Place! ❤️Last Saturday, September 27, was the wedding day of Bailey and CJ St. Romain. This beautiful couple said their vows outdoors and held an indoor reception for their family and friends. With the help of wedding coordinator Shawn Tassin, Landry’s Catering, and DJ Derek, the St. Romain’s wedding was full of joy, laughter, and fun! Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for choosing Barnside Place for your special day! ⛪️

Vintage Sports was the theme of the baby shower held in honor of moms to be Claire and Michelle on September 14, 2025. Due in November, Myles Asher Gibson is already so loved and well taken care of by dear friends and family! The hostesses went “all in” for this shower and as the pictures show, everyone got the assignment!! From the burgers and hot dogs, to the nacho and popcorn machines, the Concession Stand was open for the business of showering baby Myles with love. We can’t wait to meet Theo’s little brother! Another little slugger is on the way!!! ⚾️
