January of 2024, I planned a family session for all of my family with my grandparents so that we could get one last batch of good pictures with them before anything happened since they had both been in and out of the hospital. (It has been 10 years since we all took pictures together) Shortly before the session, my papa went into the hospital, and because of his blood thinners, once he got back home he was always freezing. Even with the heat on, he'd have 4 blankets on him. So I asked my family if we could push it back to March to let it warm up some for him so he wasn't grumpy and cold. Well, after January, it was an endless cycle of hospital visits between my papa, nanny, and dad. Every week, one of them was in the hospital. We never got our family session, and my biggest regret is not keeping our January session date and making him suffer through the chill. I keep thinking we could have layered him up with blankets to get it done so that we'd all have one last picture with them together.
With that being said, my heart is heavy and leading me to want to offer some super affordable mini sessions for those that NEED to get these pictures done. These are a no rush mini session of 20 minutes. This is the only time in BTP history that you can get an extended family session at this price.
You can get pictures of your kids with their grandparents, great grandparents, you and your parents, etc. I'm opening this up as a generational mini session as my 1st mini session of 2025. Don't keep putting off those pictures, or you'll be like me and regret it every day once they are gone. We are laying my Nanny to rest tomorrow and all I can think is "I wish I had taken the pictures." Message me if you're in need of these keepsake photos of your loved ones.
