🤍Almost 4 years later…🤍
My favorite memory from our wedding day is our bridal party misplacing our rings. Something that would send anyone else into a fit, made the entire day for us. Once we realized no one had them mid-ceremony, we improvised. Jarod got married with his brother’s ring, and I got married with a tissue tied around my finger! When the rings were located, Jarod showed our photographer what he’d been busy doing that morning. He had snuck out early and carved our initials into a tree next to the bridge. It was such a sweet surprise to me that I will never forget and we decided to exchange rings right there, making it even more special. It still makes me smile every time I walk out on the deck.
🌳Starting this year we want to implement a new tradition. Every couple married at Oak View will get to pick a tree on the property to carve their initials and/or wedding date. We hope that you will come back to visit in years to come, see YOUR special tree, and relive your day like we do every time we step out on the deck!🌳
