Brownsville Artists and Musicians (BAM) is a collaborative experiment that willingly goes against the grain of the institutionalized arts in pursuit of the marginalized and misunderstood creatives of Brownsville and the surrounding South Texas region. BAM is not another player in the "scene," rather, it

is a facilitator and collaborator for the creative class and what can best be described as an "authentic urban venue" for the downtown region.
