As we continue our celebration of Alpha Delta Pi’s 175th Anniversary, our next event is Sisterhood is Poppin’. During the month of August, we want everyone to collect pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House and we have set a goal of 1,750,000 pop tabs. That might sound overwhelming, but a quart Ziploc bag will hold approximately 1,500 pop tabs so we need to collect 1,167 quart bags or just 292 gallon bags! With our entire sisterhood collecting, we should exceed this goal. What if we collected 17,500,000 pop tabs?!

This is a great project to get your friends and community involved! You can find graphics to decorate your collection containers on the following link: https://www.alphadeltapi.org/175th/celebration-events/ When you have finished collecting, drop them off at your local Ronald McDonald House and take some great photos. If your Ronald McDonald House does not participate in pop tab collection, donate to another nearby house or take your pop tabs to a recycle center and redeem them for cash to donate. Stay tuned for instructions about how to report the number of pop tabs you collected. Start collecting today!
