Your big day is all about you. The never-ending planning, decorative decision making, phone calls with friends and family - it's all come to this. The last thing you want is more stress and distraction, especially in those key moments that you'll remember forever. I believe a wedding videographer's job is more than creating a visual keepsake. It's about working in a way that lets you live within the experience of your day, to be so immersed in the love and story of the moment, that you forget all of the preparation that led up to it. It's my job to make sure that your video not only captures the magic of your love, but that the creation of it is almost unnoticeable. From hiking elopements on 14ers, to intimate weddings at remote airbnb's - and everything in between - I help couples capture their dream day. Using cinematic techniques and empathetic editing, I create final videos that have made my couples say, "not only made my husband and I cry multiple times, but made our friends and family cry as well." When you watch your video years from now, you will feel the way you did the day you got married - that's my goal as a storyteller, and it is my promise to you as a professional. ‘Don’t show your work, show you working’, well that’s really hard when you mostly work alone.
Setting up a tripod to film yourself during a wedding feels inappropriate to me and there is rarely a nice ledge to put your phone on, but I always have my bag nearby anyways and I can set this up in literal seconds.
(I still rarely use it for bts at weddings, more elopements and engagement sessions)

It’s nice that the new one is a little further of a walk, much fewer people walk by there, and they’re further away if they do.
Plus walking by the old overlook isn’t much further, so it’s worth it to walk by and see if it isn’t swarmed with people for a few quick photos

It doesn’t take long to plan an elopement. Nick & Ben reached out to me and 2 days later we had their day planned.
2 weeks later they took an early morning flight to Colorado, drove out to Breckenridge, got married and flew home the next day.

No problems sliding backwards fully blind, but forwards got me. It was icy!
This was so much fun and my first time using meta glasses. Part 2 soon!
