Although last week we had some events, the weekend was relatively slow. Our kids were put to work with Serenity Acres Farm skincare presented by Harris Homestead of FL, while Bobbi and I got caught up on much needed rest.

We’ve now officially hit fall rental season, a huge mix of weddings, fall festivals, Thanksgiving gatherings, and everything in between. Honestly over the next few weeks if you don’t see us around town, you’re not looking hard enough. 

As always, if we can help out with your eventplease don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Also pleas let us know if we can make your Thanksgiving gathering complete!

This morning we had the privilege of sponsoring Brooksville Main Street’s Beautify Brooksville event. We provided a ton of different snacks and a cooler filled with ice cold drinks for the workers.

We’ve been wanting to help assist for a while, but with our busy Saturday rentals and now having two young kids it was near impossible to volunteer our time. 

Dropped of at 7am, and it still gave me enough time to still facilitate my events today. The mountain of trash bags I saw at pickup proves it was a success! Great event that helps to keep Brooksville clean and beautiful.

Overall, day three of driving went pretty well. She’s starting to get a little too confident, has run into my truck twice.

First time I “learned” to drive was on something similar, then I upgraded to a riding mower with a yard cart on the back. I used to practice going in reverse with the mower and cart for hours… probably why I’m so experienced with backing up the trailers.

Yesterday she went with us to pickup “tables and chairs.” She had to have her work hat on, and was upset she wasn’t wearing her work shirt.

Not sure if she’ll remember this, but I will hopefully remember everything.

As I’ve said 1000 times before, thank you all for supporting our family owned business.

Someone asked me about the centerpieces that we created for our photoshoot, and I wanted to take a moment to go over it.

The wooden centerpiece as well as the glass vase are our items that can be rented out.

The flowers are actually fake flowers that I bought from Walmart this week. They were longer stemmed flowers and we ended up cutting off the end of the stem, folding the yellow one on itself. That way it fluffed at the bottom.

If you are planning fake floral for an event in the future, I would recommend going to Hobby lobby or maybe even Michael’s for their seasonal sales. Temu is a great alternative, I have had some brides with great luck. Although once ot twice some with not so great luck when it came to what actually arrived.

I always say this to anyone that reaches out to us: “whether you rent from us or not, if we can offer suggestions to make your day any easier, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’ve been around a while, seen quite a lot, and will happily try and point you in the right direction.”
