Here's the difference between a good DJ and a great one: preparation you can't see.
While most DJs are still building their playlist the week of your event, mine updates itself overnight. Every Sunday at sunrise, my system scrapes the charts, finds what's new, and tells me exactly what to add to my library so I'm always current. Not "I'll figure it out at the party" current. Actually current.
That means when your cousin requests the song she heard on TikTok last week — I've got it. When your dad wants the one his college buddies are still posting about — I've got that too. When the energy in the room shifts and we need a left-field pick that absolutely lands — that's not luck. That's months of preparation showing up at the right moment.
I take this seriously because your night only happens once.
