With only 3 weeks left in 2021, I’m looking back on this amazing year and the amazing celebrations we’ve had the honor to be a part of. At the beginning of this year we designed Adriana and Santiago’s wedding florals. Their wedding was supposed to take place in Puerto Rico but the couple ultimately decided on an intimate wedding day with their closest loves ones. Appreciation post for mi bella Mami- my lead designer. She’s a little shy on setup days and keeps to herself but wow, is she TALENTED. She’s not only an incredible floral designer- she’s also a jack of all trades. She can sew you beautiful garments and prepare chef quality meals. She can draw, paint, crochet, bake, craft and so much more. She never ceases to amaze me with all she can do and how hardworking she is. Honored to have been selected for “Meet The Vendor” feature in this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month. This is my second feature with and I am filled with a lot of gratitude and emotion because I’ve worked so hard to build this brand from nothing and we’ve grown so much so fast, sometimes I can’t even believe it. The amazing opportunities that come my way on this journey make me feel so grateful to god, my family, my clients, our followers and all my industry friends. I get to make a living doing what I love with the people I love- all to be a part of celebrating life’s big moments like this for amazing people. Si me has estado siguiendo por un tiempo, entonces sabes que no estaría donde estoy sin el increíble apoyo de mi Mami, que es mi diseñadora principal y mi motor. Mi Mami se crió en México y aunque aveces ha tenido problemas con el inglés, eso no le ha impedido convertirse en una de las mejores diseñadoras que he conocido a pesar de la cantidad muy limitada de recursos educativos disponibles para diseñadores bilingües. Es por eso que cuando Cristina de anunció que iba a ser la anfitriona de la PRIMERA Summit de Fleursociety en ESPAÑOL, me sentí muy feliz y muy emocionada. If you’ve been following me for a while then you know that I would be nowhere without the amazing support of my Mami who is my lead designer and overall biggest cheerleader. My mom was raised in Mexico, and while she has struggled with mastering English, it has not stopped her from growing into one of the best designers I’ve ever known despite the very limited amount of educational resources available for bilingual designers. That’s why when Cristina from announced she was going to be hosting the FIRST Fleursociety Summit in ESPAÑOL I was overjoyed and so excited. Even more so because she invited me to be on the education panel- this is such a dream come true for me! I’m so excited to be leading a design demo for the summit attendees and sharing the little I know with my native Spanish speakers. Don’t speak Spanish? Not a problem! The English summit has 20+ educators! Anyone who knows me knows I’m am open book and love sharing what I know, so this is something I have always looked forward to doing and I’m honored to be a part of this.
