🚀 Get in, we’re flying to the moon 🌖

Just kidding - I’m terrified of heights 🥴 but how cool was it to witness history this month with the first mission to the moon in about 50 years?!

My highlight: The naming of a moon crater after the commander’s late wife, Carroll 🥹

Were you as glued to this story as I was?! I still have soooo many questions. Someone may need to put me in touch with an astronaut 🧑‍🚀

Anywho… Now we wait for Artemis III in 2027! 🚀

A week ago, on ✨New Years Eve✨, our family welcomed its newest little addition, our Elizabeth Rae 🌈

She is our promise from Heaven, the purest little love, a fortress for our hearts after a year that changed our family in the deepest ways forever.

Last NYE, our family left a hospital empty and shattered to pop fireworks in our driveway with our son. This NYE, we held our rainbow baby in our arms and watched fireworks from our postpartum room window. It felt redemptive, bittersweet, joyful and complicated.

Thank you so much for the space and time you have allowed me over the last year to grow where needed, pause when necessary, share as I was able, and somehow come out stronger on the other side. And for the prayers - ugh, the prayers 😭 - we’re endlessly grateful for those.

Speaking of Labor Day…

🍪 I’ve been baking more than cookies this summer 🎉

I’ve held my breath for 23 weeks, running mostly on prayer and a promise 🪁 (and if you want to know why that kite emoji means everything to me, I’d love to share that testimony), but I’m so excited to share this sweet, sweet news!

Baby Garza is joining the Sweet Squad this winter - nearly a year to the date their sibling was welcomed into heaven 👼🏻

This precious child - our rainbow sprinkle - has been prayed over, deeply desired, and is already changing our lives for the sweeter 🤍

Pregnancy is a blessing not lost on me - especially after loss. And if that journey of loss or season of waiting is one you’re walking through, my heart is with yours and my prayers are covering you.
