This one felt special.

Last Thursday I had the privilege of moderating *Fragile Formats* with for — a listening session built around her archive of 45s tracing Pakistani music through the 60s and 70s and beyond.

What made it so special was how much ground we covered. Distribution, sampling, cultural identity, politics, etc. All of it surfacing through these small, fragile records. Conversations like this remind me why I fell in love with music in the first place. Not just the sounds, but everything underneath them.

Taking on the moderator role was a fun challenge and felt like a natural extension of the work I’ve been doing with . Getting to do that live, in a room full of people who care, was something I won’t forget. Shoutout to for having me!

And honestly, just getting to know Natasha through this process was its own gift. Such a brilliant person and so generous with her knowledge and her time.

Back at Green Room this Friday for a really special one ❤️

Third Floor Sounds celebrates it’s (belated) 2 year anniversary and it’s honestly hard to put into words how much this project has come to mean to me. What started as a small passion project has slowly grown into a community, a creative outlet, and something that’s brought so many incredible people into my life.

Over the past two years, I’ve had the chance to connect and create with so many talented DJs, artists, friends, and supporters, and I’m genuinely grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey in any way.

This Friday, we’re celebrating with some of my favorite people from the extended TFS family, and it really means a lot to be able to bring everyone together for this one.

Whether you’ve been to one event or ten (or have just been following along online!) would love to have you there 🫶🏻

Still thinking about this night from Dead Letter No. 9. The room had such a good energy to it all night — an amazing crowd, incredible dancers, and so many genuine interactions throughout the evening.

Definitely one of my favorite recordings I’ve captured in a while.

New mix (and pfp!) alert 🏠🔊

Excited to finally share my live opening set from Third Floor Sounds: Foundations last week with DJ Spinna & k.tea. Such a special night all around — the energy in the room was incredible from start to finish, and the dancers absolutely brought the space to life.

For this set, I wanted to keep things warm and patient while building the room to start the night. A mix of afro, soulful, and deep house with a few personal favorites sprinkled in.

Thursday (4/30) — Third Floor Sounds: Foundations @ Green Room (10pm–3am)

Very excited for this one as we welcome the legendary DJ Spinna for a very special night of house music, community, and incredible sound.

Saturday (5/2) — Making my debut at Dead Letter No.9!

Opening The Foyer from 9pm–12am alongside Miss Gypsy, with Tedd Patterson + Bridge holding it down in The Cargo.

My favorite recent vinyl find! 🇰🇷

I came across my first Korean deep house record last week at and was immediately drawn in. What stood out most is the way the first track opens with a radio station sample. It felt instantly nostalgic — I grew up listening to WBLS in the car, and those voices snd sounds have really stayed with me.

The record is AMON.CIN — Audio Smith Vol.03 “Charles.” The “Audio Smith” series is built around the idea of craftsmanship, treating sound like something shaped and forged. This project leans into that through sampling, pulling from soul, funk, and jazz as source material.

I’ve always found it inspiring to hear how other countries interpret and reshape American music genres. This is a beautiful example of that. Shoutout to the Korean producers pushing things forward!

Been slowly going through my dad’s CD collection and finding some real gems… this one stopped me in my tracks. Instantly heard the Kaytranada reference.
