Today Theresa is 9 years old and just so beautiful

Theresa Rose's Story Shows the Importance of the Ronald McDonald House and Offers Hopes to Parents of Preemies

Theresa Rose was born on April 27, 2012. She was not due until August 14. Her mom, Cathy, has touched my life and the lives of my student volunteers. We met Cathy during our dinner program at the House. Cathy shared her story and photos with us because, as she said, "Maybe they can be used to let people know how important the Ronald McDonald House is and give hope to parents with preemies." Imagine - here Cathy is with Theresa Rose still in the hospital, and she has immense compassion for others. As she said, "Anything I can do to help, I'm down."

I am happy to report that today, Theresa Rose is 8 months old and growing stronger each day. She is nothing short of beautiful like her momma and extraordinary. It is truly an honor for me to know that my student volunteers can help ease the burdens of families like Cathy's.With loving wishes for a healthy new year, Donna Christina Oliverio (Founder of Kids Stock the House) ♥
