The Irish Hills annual Holiday in the Hills event is taking place this weekend.
In the past Brick Walker Tavern hosted their annual Christmas open house
during this same weekend allowing the community to tour the tavern decorated for the holidays. However our open house will not be taking place again this year due to COVID. I would like to share some past Christmas decorations of the tavern to get us in the holiday spirit.

It is that time again. We decided to change the lights in the windows of the Historic Brick Walker Tavern. Hope everyone is getting in the Christmas spirit. Sorry to announce we will not be hosting our Christmas open house again this year. Take care and stay safe.

Back in the day Brick Walker Tavern was a stagecoach stop along
U.S. 12. Horse and buggies would stop to rest at the tavern needing to hitch up the horses. Thanks to Mary Lou and Mike for repairing our hitching post in front of our barn. The barn is now where bridal couples are getting hitched.
