I once had someone tell me that once I had my baby ( I was pregnant at the time) that I would become irrelevant. That my business would go under and that it would be so difficult to get back in the game. Then I got pregnant again with my second son. So for some time those words have played in my head and it’s been tough not to mention all the postpartum emotions we mommas go through. But on this Monday morning I think of how is such an inspiration. I love her story because she has broken stereotypes and boundaries in her craft. She began her career much later than most ballerinas do. She was different. But yet she succeeded.
