womp writes bass music for the space in between — the deep and the loud, the clean and the distorted — pairing heavyweight low-end with surgical, expressive sound design. Now anchored in Seattle, his sonic blueprint pulls from LYNY, Peekaboo, and Xotix, turning collision and contrast into a signature rather than a side effect.
That approach has translated into traction. His catalog has surpassed half a million streams, including a debut release on SubCarbon Records (G***a White Night’s label), and his footprint in the scene goes well beyond his own discography. He co-runs Bass Freaks and Liminal Bass, two collectives helping book the kind of nights he wanted to play when he was first coming up — community-first, locally driven, and loud.
Live, womp has shared the stage with Jkyl & Hyde, TVBOO, Cannabliss, Chef Boyarbeatz, Shanghai Doom, Pierce, SubDocta, Stylust, and more — and this summer brings his festival debut at Friendzy Fest and Mountain Wubz: same intent he started with, bigger speakers to do it on.
