The May 12th wind storm was devastating to the beautiful trees at Greenwood Cemetery. It is estimated that more than 75 trees were destroyed in the storm. Greenwood Cemetery has served the Brookings community since 1882 and your help is needed to continue this legacy.

We need your help to clean up the storm damage and get Greenwood back to the peaceful and beautiful place we remember. The clean up will continue next week and we can use anyone able to pick up small sticks after the downed trees are removed.

Volunteers are needed Tuesday - Friday @ 5:30 pm or Saturday @ 10 am. Please gather near the shed located at the south end of the road from the main entrance. If possible, bring a rake and garbage can to gather small branches.
