What does this sweet sentiment mean to you?

I won this darling little mug from the Brookings-Harbor Garden Club last year at the Azalea Flower Show. It’s a beautiful piece of memorabilia from that day and a great reminder to nurture my friendships just as I do my flowers —with joy and love.

Because we design strictly with what is blooming in our fields each morning, every piece is an entirely unique, ephemeral work of art tailored to the exact rhythm of nature. When possible, we also like to source blooms from other local flower growers in our small town.

Thank you to all of you amazing flower lovers out there for participating in today’s Azalea Flower Show! Whether you entered an arrangement, a single flower, or if you were just stopping by to smell the roses, you all put a huge smile on my face.

This show wouldn’t have been possible without our fabulous community, so many dedicated volunteers, and a shared passion for flowers. What a lovely thing to be able to share beauty and joy on this lovely Spring day together along the southern oregon coast.

Some of the blooms featured in my flower entry include Teasing Georgia roses, Strawberry Hill roses, Honeymoon roses, Princess Charlene De Monaco roses, and Champagne Bubbles poppies.

If you didn’t have a chance to see all of the gorgeous flowers today, they will be on display again tomorrow at the Brookings Harbor Botanical Garden for your perusing pleasure. Enjoy, flower friends! 💛

We have really been enjoying the lovely weather up the Chetco River these past few days.☀️ It really is like living in paradise here on the Banana Belt. We are truly grateful to be able to enjoy our freedom in such a beautiful place. The sacrifices of our American military members and their families are not lost on us as we enjoy our burgers and hot dogs and a nice swim after.

We will be offering a few beautiful bouquets from our garden at for you all to shop from this weekend. All flowers have been locally grown right here in my backyard in Brookings, Oregon and are pesticide-free.

Featured flowers: Sweet peas, ranunculus, columbine, garden roses, statice, hydrangea, and alstromerias.
