Have you ever dared to dream of becoming a mermaid or merman, a radiant siren captivating sailors with your irresistible song, or a mystical sea witch brimming with allure and magic? If your heart races at the mere thought of it, then this is not just a moment—this is your invitation to plunge into a realm where dreams transcend reality!
We are in search of a few more volunteers, ages 16 and up, to embody the mesmerizing roles of merpeople for the magical Pirates of the Pacific Festival. Join us on this extraordinary journey and let your spirit glide freely through the ocean's depths as we collectively weave a breathtaking tapestry of maritime wonder!
Mark your calendars for our thrilling open casting call on July 14th and 15th at 6:30pm, held at the enchanted Chetco Pelican Playhouse, nestled at 1240 Chetco Avenue. For more information please call Pod Mother Ariel Farris at 541-661-6017. No prior experience is necessary—just an unwavering passion for the sea! Our mermaids and mermen will enchant guests in two-hour shifts, fully embracing their aquatic personas throughout their performances. We will host a special “boot camp” designed to help you shape your character, learn basic mermaid/merman makeup, craft stunning accessories, and perfect your interaction techniques with our cherished audience. Participation in the boot camp is mandatory for those ready to embark on this magical adventure. The bootcamp will take place on July 19th!
