Oftentimes we see the stereotype of the π going on some crazy crash diet in order to get into shape. The problem is that crash diets are often bad for your body and aren't sustainable. Instead of focusing on size, focus on health, focus on strength, focus on how you feel.
It can be intimidating getting started on a new physical fitness journey , but you can do it! Not for the look in your wedding dress, but for a healthier, happier you now and into the future!
Talk to your doctor. Discuss your current health, your goals, and the best way to get there. Check with your insurance...you might find that it will actually cover some of the cost, whether that means money towards a fitness membership or gear.
Personally, one of my favorite fitness routines is going to the π₯. I haven't been during the pandemic, but I'm looking forward to getting back to Martial Arts in Port Jefferson Station.
