I thought this day would never come… like, right up there with “I’ll just run a quick errand” turning into 3 hours
BUT—happy to report this bionic knee is doing its thing and I am (briefly!) back in action for spring pictures! 🌸📸
The knee replacement went off without a hitch (shoutout to modern medicine and a whole lot of patience), and I’m ready to test-drive this new joint doing what I love. I’ve opened up limited availability in May, and then I’ll be fully back at it in the fall—stronger, slightly more metal, and probably still bossing people into “one more smile” 😉

📸✨ Beginning December 4, 2025 — That’s a Wrap (and a Replacement!) ✨📸

I’ve gotten a few messages lately asking why my booking calendar suddenly stops in December—since I usually shoot well into the holiday season. Well friends, I finally have an answer… my 2025 photo season is coming to an early close because apparently my knee decided it deserves an upgrade before my camera does! 😅

I’ll be trading in my lenses for a shiny new knee and taking a little “time off for maintenance.” Not exactly the editing marathon I had planned, but hey—this version comes with pain meds and Netflix instead of Lightroom and late nights! 😂

A huge thank-you to everyone who smiled, laughed, and twirled in front of my lens this year. You’ve made my job such a joy (and totally worth the limp). I’ll be back next season with a bionic knee, a faster shutter finger, and probably a few hilarious stories from physical therapy!
