After 42 years in the restaurant business — and 24 years building WM Food Services into what it is today — my dad, Donnie, is officially retiring.Watching him pour his heart into this place has been one of the greatest lessons of my life. He built more than a business; he built a community, a standard of hospitality, and a place people feel at home. I’ve been lucky enough to work beside him, learn from him, and see firsthand the dedication, grit, and love he’s put into every single day. Congratulations, Dad. You’ve earned this next chapter, and I hope retirement brings you rest, joy, and all the things you’ve put off while taking care of everyone else. Here’s to you — and to a legacy that will last long after the doors close each night.
