Forty ACM trophies later, Miranda Lambert still found a way to make the night about someone else.
While Ella Langley walked into the 2026 ACM Awards and took home five massive wins, Miranda was quietly stacking history in the background without asking for the attention. She earned two more awards for “Choosin’ Texas” as both a producer and co writer, pushing her total to an unbelievable 40 ACM victories.
That number now stands higher than every artist the Academy has ever honored. Higher than George Strait. Higher than Brooks and Dunn. A record built over decades, yet she stood on that stage talking about gratitude instead of greatness.
Miranda shared that this marked her 20th year attending the ACMs and thanked Ella for trusting her with the music. That moment said everything.
