Kevin “King” Walsh Dominates Angel Luna, Improves to 18–0
Lowell, MA – September 6, 2025 — Brockton featherweight Kevin “King” Walsh added another emphatic victory to his undefeated record Saturday night at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. Walsh dropped Angel Luna early in the first round and finished the fight before the bell, moving his record to 18–0 with 10 knockouts.
The 32-year-old began his boxing journey in the amateurs, where he built the technical foundation and discipline that have carried into his professional career. That grounding has fueled a steady climb through the regional ranks, highlighted by wins over several notable opponents.
In May of this year, Walsh edged out veteran Tramaine Williams in a 10-round split decision at Foxwoods, proving he could go the distance against experienced opposition. Just a few months earlier, he stopped Ricky de los Santos in the eighth round to claim the WBC US Silver Featherweight Title, one of the most important victories of his career to date. Before that, Walsh earned a fourth-round TKO over Irvin Gonzalez at the CES Autumn Classic in November 2024, and only weeks earlier had captured the New England Super Featherweight Title by blasting out Yeifer Valencia in the very first round.
Training out of Cappiello’s Boxing Gym, Walsh has become one of New England’s most followed fighters, backed by an enthusiastic hometown fan base and strong sponsor support. His fights regularly draw large crowds, giving him the feel of a local star ready for a national stage.
With his latest first-round knockout, Walsh continues to build momentum as one of the featherweight division’s brightest prospects. Bigger opportunities are on the horizon, and his rise shows no signs of slowing down.
