One year of Charlie & Alex 🤍

Some weddings just have a feeling you never forget and this was one of them.

Charlie & Alex were married at Charlie’s family’s private home, surrounded by the people who knew them best from all over the country. The day moved from a waterfront cliffside ceremony, to cocktails on the front lawn to an intimate tented reception creating a day that felt relaxed, intimate and completely them.

There was so much joy. The kind that felt easy and real. A family style dinner, live band, a clean and timeless design and a dance floor that stayed full the entire night.

And then there were the details that made it theirs: Alex handmade the bud vases, they spent the morning together with family writing vows and soaking in the day, Charlie’s dad played the harmonica during the reception, subtle nods to Maine showed up in the sweetest ways, including little lobster paper clips. One of my favorite moments was the shared mother-son dance.

Their wedding felt so incredibly personal in all the right ways. Nothing forced, nothing overdone, just thoughtful, joyful and full of life.

Happy anniversary, Charlie & Alex 🤍🥂
