Calling all artists/artisans who identify as Puerto Rican or are of Puerto Rican descent! Interested in being a vendor at our next Museum After Dark (MAD) Party? Join us at Chinchorreo at the Museum on Saturday, April 18, 8-11 p.m.

A chinchorreo is a traditional Puerto Rican weekend bar-hopping party where friends and family travel between casual, rustic roadside bars known as chinchorros. Participants feast on local fried snacks (frituras) and drinks, enjoying live music and a lively, festive atmosphere.

Celebrate the launch of the Museum’s multi-year “Puerto Rico in Focus” initiative and the current special exhibition "The Museum of the Old Colony: An Art Installation by Pablo Delano," on view through July 5, 2026.

Un "chinchorreo" es una tradicional fiesta puertorriqueña de fin de semana, consistente en un recorrido por bares, donde amigos y familiares se trasladan entre bares informales y rústicos ubicados a la orilla de la carretera, conocidos como "chinchorros". Los participantes se deleitan con aperitivos fritos locales (*frituras*) y bebidas, mientras disfrutan de música en vivo y de un ambiente animado y festivo.

Celebren el lanzamiento de la iniciativa plurianual del Museo titulada "Puerto Rico in Focus", así como la actual exposición especial "The Museum of the Old Colony: An Art Installation by Pablo Delano", la cual estará en exhibición hasta el 5 de julio de 2026.
