We’d like to formally welcome back our iconic steer, Finley! He’s been out grazing on pasture all summer, and now he’s finally back home at the farm, happy to get all the attention and hay that he can!

For those of you who have been following us for a while, you probably already know that Finn is our resident bottle baby. He was hand-raised at all hours of the day and night for the first several months of his life last year, and he’s now the most personable and spunky cow in our herd. We love having him back to greet everyone who passes by with his curious moos and playful personality!

Since his re-arrival, Finn has been getting comfortable in the barn pasture, playing around with his new friends like Maisie, and munching on tons of fresh hay to stock up for the winter. Make sure to give him a quick hello if you have plans to come to the farm this season, he’s sure to demand it 😂🤗🍁Happy Fall!

As some of you may know, our resident ewe Delilah has been pregnant for quite some time now, and this month, she finally blessed us with two beautiful baby lambs!

When setting up for a wedding a few weeks ago, we heard tiny “baa”s coming from the sheep pasture, and ran over to be greeted by the twins! They were immediately up and jumping around, following mama with ease. The two have been inseparable, playing together with the dogs and greeting every guest that comes to meet them!

Unfortunately, a few days after birth, our baby ram suffered from a common eye issue. He’s since healed up very well with no more irritation, but he remains blind in one eye. As so, we’ve decided to name him after the great Stevie Wonder, a blind icon who continues to accomplish incredible feats!

However, Stevie’s sis still needs a name! Comment some fitting ideas for our new little ewe below ⬇️🐑💕

We welcomed this sweet little lady about a month ago, and we’re once again asking y’all to help us give her the perfect name!

Her mama Callie joined our herd last year, and unexpectedly gave us a beautiful calf this spring! She has been adjusting quite well to life on the farm, and has made fast friends with one of our other new calves, Merida. The two of them often play together, and Merida is slowly helping us coax her out of her shell!

We are so honored to have won the 2026 Excellence Award for Best Unique Venue!
Since beginning our first wedding season just last year, the creation of Highland Farms has been a labor of love. From the construction of our flagstone patio, to raising and caring for our sweet Highland coos, to working tirelessly with the talented professionals of the industry, we have been so privileged to help our couples materialize their dream wedding day.

We cannot even begin to thank those of you who voted for us, all of our amazing clients and of course for the nomination! Our beautiful Bonnie lass has given birth to a brand new baby girl, and she’s in need of a name!

The other two calves at the farm, Maisie and Merida, will be meeting her soon, and they need to know what to call her 😉 So far, she has been the ultimate sweetheart, running up to the fence for pets when she’s not napping next to mama. We love names with Scottish Gaelic origin, that honor the cows’ heritage and fit their unique personality. 🐮 Drop your top picks in the comments! ⬇️
