We welcomed this sweet little lady about a month ago, and we’re once again asking y’all to help us give her the perfect name!

Her mama Callie joined our herd last year, and unexpectedly gave us a beautiful calf this spring! She has been adjusting quite well to life on the farm, and has made fast friends with one of our other new calves, Merida. The two of them often play together, and Merida is slowly helping us coax her out of her shell!

We are so honored to have won the 2026 Excellence Award for Best Unique Venue!
Since beginning our first wedding season just last year, the creation of Highland Farms has been a labor of love. From the construction of our flagstone patio, to raising and caring for our sweet Highland coos, to working tirelessly with the talented professionals of the industry, we have been so privileged to help our couples materialize their dream wedding day.

We cannot even begin to thank those of you who voted for us, all of our amazing clients and of course for the nomination! Our beautiful Bonnie lass has given birth to a brand new baby girl, and she’s in need of a name!

The other two calves at the farm, Maisie and Merida, will be meeting her soon, and they need to know what to call her 😉 So far, she has been the ultimate sweetheart, running up to the fence for pets when she’s not napping next to mama. We love names with Scottish Gaelic origin, that honor the cows’ heritage and fit their unique personality. 🐮 Drop your top picks in the comments! ⬇️

Here at Highland Farms, we are so blessed to enjoy the beautiful old growth forest, unique nature, and special farm animals that are all part of our family. Being surrounded by such breathtaking views and displays of beauty is a wonderful privilege that we never take advantage of. And we are so happy to share that with you all! From seeing new births and babies up close, to hands-on farm tours, to peaceful stays and rejuvenating spa time, everyone deserves a chance to be familiarized with all the wonders that the Earth has to offer. We hope you have a chance today to stop and smell the flowers (such as this rare and stunning trillium!) 🌸 Happy Earth Day to all!
