Take a look at this for a second.

Every name on that board represents a business that chose to show up for this community.

Not just to put their logo on something.
But to be part of bringing thousands of people together in Downtown Brighton.

Music.
Food.
Fireworks.
Moments that people talk about long after the weekend is over.

That does not happen without local businesses stepping up and saying,
“We want to be part of this.”

As we build this year’s Taste of Brighton, we are still looking for a few more of those businesses. The ones that believe in this town and want to be part of something bigger than themselves.

If you have ever thought about getting involved, this is your moment.

Because behind every great event…
is a group of local businesses that made it possible.

Some businesses show up for the community EVERY SINGLE TIME...

And in ways most people never even realize!

Beauchamp Water Treatment Solutions is one of those companies and it is our pleasure to put a well deserved spotlight on them.

For decades, they have quietly helped families and businesses across Livingston County deal with something essential to everyday life… clean water. Their roots here go back to 1976, and today their team brings more than a century of combined water treatment experience serving homes and businesses throughout the region.

But what really makes Beauchamp stand out is how often they show up for the community.

Local festivals.
Charity events.
Youth activities.
Community gatherings.

In fact, they have donated more than one million bottles of water every year to help keep people hydrated at events across the communities they serve.

And if you have ever been to Taste of Brighton, you have probably seen one of the people who makes that happen.

Sandy Rachwal...

Sandy is the face of Beauchamp in the community and a force behind the scenes at so many local events. She works tirelessly to support organizations across Livingston County, and when Taste of Brighton rolls around, she can usually be found right in the middle of the action.

While the rest of us are enjoying the music, the food, and the summer heat, Sandy is often out there making sure people stay cool and hydrated.

Which is exactly why it feels so fitting that Beauchamp Water is once again sponsoring the Cooling Station at Taste of Brighton this year.

Because when the temperatures rise and thousands of people fill downtown, there will be one place everyone will appreciate.

A cold bottle of water.
A chance to cool down.
And a reminder that businesses like Beauchamp care deeply about this community.

Thank you to Beauchamp Water Treatment Solutions and to Sandy for continuing to support the people and events that make Brighton such a special place.

A Taste of something unforgettable...

The Taste of Brighton is not built from one big moment...It is cumulation from hundreds of little ones.

A vendor waving hello.
A local business showing up in a big way.
An artist creating.
A band stepping on stage.
The smell of amazing food filling the air.
A packed crowd down Main Street.

This is what Taste of Brighton really is. Not just a festival you attend, but a downtown that comes alive because so many people bring something to it.

That is what makes it special!

And that is why we pour so much time, energy, and heart into bringing Taste of Brighton back to Main Street every year.

Who else celebrated this beautiful day with a stroll down Main Street?

Today felt like the first real taste of spring in Downtown Brighton.

Sunshine. Blue skies. Windows open. People out walking. Kids running around with fishing poles, and in the Imagination Station. Friends stopping to chat on the sidewalks. Cars slowly rolling through town while everyone soaks up that first warm day we have all been waiting for.

Days like today are a reminder of why We Believe In Brighton.

If you were out enjoying it today, we would love to hear what you noticed.

Spring is starting to wake up on Main Street. And we are here for it!

Happy International Women’s Day to our women owned businesses downtown Brighton.

We are incredibly proud to have 51 female owned or co owned in our downtown.

Fifty One!

That means the heart of our downtown is powered by women who chose to build something here. Women who took the risk of opening the doors, creating jobs, serving customers, and pouring their energy into making this community stronger.

Some are solo founders. Some are husband and wife teams. We also have a mom building her business with her son.

But the common thread is leadership, courage, and commitment to this community.

These are the people who open the doors early, stay late, solve problems, support local events, and help make downtown Brighton the place we all love to gather.

Today we celebrate them.

Over the next few hours we will be tagging as many of these 51 incredible women led businesses as we can in the comments.

If you see one you love, give them a follow, stop in, and let them know you appreciate what they bring to our town.

Because when local entrepreneurs step up, take risks, and build something meaningful…

That is exactly why we Believe in Brighton!

Celebrate & Recognize Your favorite female owned business in Brighton by tagging them in the comments 😁

Some businesses do more than serve great beer...

They help bring a community together.

We want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Brewery Becker for stepping up as the sponsor of the West Stage at Taste of Brighton.

That means the music you hear drifting through downtown. The bands that get people dancing in the street. The moments where you stop walking, turn toward the stage, and realize how special this town really is... Those moments are possible because Brewery Becker said yes.

If you have spent time there, you already know why they matter so much to Brighton. Incredible beer. One of the best patios anywhere in Livingston County. A historic building that feels like it belongs exactly where it is.

For some of us, it is even where life milestones happened. For this post author Brewery Becker was were we celebrated our wedding reception 10 years ago.

Brewery Becker is more than a brewery. It is part of the story of downtown Brighton.

And now they are helping write the next chapter by supporting the music that will fill the West Stage during Taste of Brighton.

So when the band kicks in and the crowd gathers around the stage this summer, know that a local business stepped up to make it happen.

Thank you, Brewery Becker, for Believing In Brighton!

It all starts with the fireworks...

Last year, for the first time over 40 years we were able to bring a commercial firework show to downtown Brighton.

Families gathered.
Main Street was packed.
The sky lit up over The AMP.
And our collective community gathered in awe.

That happened because this town showed up.
Volunteers.
Local businesses.
Sponsors.
Neighbors who believe in Brighton.

We are in full planning mode to doing it all again this year!

Taste of Brighton is officially underway.

The fireworks are ordered.
The bands are booked. Sponsors are stepping in.
Vendors are lining up.
And plans are already in motion to make this year even bigger and better.

This is not just an event.

It is the biggest weekend of the year in downtown Brighton.
And it is built by people who care about this place.

July is coming quick and it is going to be something special.

Who is ready to see those fireworks light up the sky again?

We had to jump on the trend and see how ChatGPT views our work with Believe In Brighton.

And it looks like they pretty much nailed it!

Music in the air. Friends strolling Main Street. Fireworks over The AMP. Local shops, community gatherings, and those moments that make downtown feel alive in every season.

If this image tells us anything, it’s that the heart of Brighton is hard to miss. It’s in the people, the experiences, and the memories we keep creating together.

We’ll take this as confirmation and amongst the reasons We Believe in Brighton.

Hope you all are having a Fantastic Weekend!

On a polar-cold, snow-covered Brighton day…
let’s rewind to a moment that felt a little more tropical.

This is reason #4 of the many reasons we believe in Brighton!

Take a look back as Nick Mannisto, The Captain of Captain's Wööd Fired Pies himself, serving up tropical drinks and summer vibes during Taste of Brighton.

No snow boots.
No heavy coats.
Just sunshine, music, laughter, and a downtown full of people soaking it all in.

Moments like this are why we love this community.
Because even on the coldest days, Brighton knows how to bring the warmth.

What are you most looking forward to this summer in Brighton?
