Go in the stage business they said…it will be fun they said. But “they” never mentioned a stage full of venomous snakes!!!!! 😳😳😬😬

Earth Day 2026, Brewton AL

If you’ve ever wanted to be close to venomous reptiles safely, come to E O Wilson Park in Brewton this morning.

For many reasons, I love to feel spring in the air. One reason, it means festivals, events, and concerts get ramped back up. I truly love what I do, and look forward to running “90 miles per hour with my hair on fire” throughout the season.
With that being said, the 10th Annual Collard Green Festival is in full swing today. (Saturday 3/7) I will have The Redfield on stage at noon, so you have plenty time to get here for some great music.
I hope everyone has a great weekend, and I encourage everyone to get outside and enjoy some festivities!!

First, I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas right around the corner. 2025 has been a busy year for DMS Sound & Stage, and I humbly appreciate everyone who trusted me to handle stage and production duties at their events this year. Whether it was graduations, bike rallies, annual meetings, proms, weddings, festivals, concerts, reunions, conference with a world renowned speaker, and even 2 celebrations of life…this year created milestones for DMS. Whether it was Brewton, East Brewton, Andalusia, Monroeville, Greenville, Atmore, Fairhope, Panama City Beach or Vernon FL…this year showed how cities of all sizes are realizing the importance of events to promote the quality of life in their respective cities. This is a responsibility I don’t take lightly, and I consider it a privilege to be part of these events.
I am optimistic about the future of community events and fellowship through these events, and I hope to be a part of them for many years to come. One thing cannot be denied…we all need this type of togetherness in this crazy world of isolation and remoteness.
Again, I sincerely appreciate everyone who supports DMS and local communities, local business, local musicians, and local venues. Please keep the support coming to all those things!!!
Stay positive!!!!!!

David
