Okay… here we are, jumping on this trend. 😅

But honestly? I couldn’t resist.

These are a few of my “kinda chic” wedding opinions after planning celebrations for more than a decade. Not because they’re trendy—but because I’ve seen firsthand how much they help couples actually enjoy their wedding day.

At the end of the day, there isn’t a right or wrong way to celebrate. If you want the giant party, have the giant party. If you want tacos, serve tacos. If you want to honor family traditions, create quiet moments together, or toss the rulebook out altogether… I’m here for it.

The chicest weddings are the ones that feel authentic to the two of you.

People often see the finished wedding.

The beautiful ceremony. The packed dance floor. The perfectly timed sunset portraits.

What they don’t always see are the dozens of people working together behind the scenes to make those moments possible.

The planner adjusting timelines on the fly. The florist placing the final blooms. The photographer chasing the best light. The DJ reading the room. The caterer serving hundreds of meals. The rental crew transforming an empty space. Hair and makeup making everyone feel their best. The venue staff, bakers, bartenders, transportation teams, and so many others who each play a part.

A wedding day is never the work of one person—it’s a team effort built on trust, communication, and people who genuinely care about giving a couple the best day possible.

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing community of vendors who continue to show up, support one another, and pour their hearts into every celebration. It’s an honor to create alongside all of you.

Some weddings are beautiful because of the details.

Others are beautiful because of the people.

Shannon + Ignacio’s celebration was both.

From the vibrant florals and thoughtful design to the way their family and friends cheered them on through every milestone of the day, there was an undeniable sense of joy in every corner of the Gardens at Heather Farm. Every laugh, every embrace, every happy tear reminded us that the best weddings aren’t about perfection—they’re about creating a space where everyone feels connected and celebrated.

Some of the biggest wedding day headaches don’t come from major emergencies.

They come from the little details that no one realized needed a plan.

Who’s bringing lunch? Where’s the marriage license? What happens if Grandma arrives 30 minutes early? Who’s taking the card box home?
