Hot take: When you’re in the mist of wedding planning, don’t forget to pour into yourselves!

We know it’s easier said than done, but you’re managing regular life, work, family, your partner, your relationship.

It’s equally as important that you fill your cup up, so that you can be the best version of yourself and spill over into the loves of those you love.

This can be as lavish as a massage or facial, or as simple as lighting a candle, flowers at your desk, reading a book or going for a nice walk in the sun.

A venue with grounds like this make it so we can’t say just what we love about ⁠⁠ more- the gardens, the fields or the views 😍 This gorgeous venue in Petaluma is a 600-acre private estate and is a must see if you’re considering a Sonoma-Marin County wedding. 🤍⁠Ask yourself, is this a “should” or a “want”..? If you’re doing something because you feel you should, we want to empower you to question that, find out what you actually want and like, and go for that! ⁠
🤍⁠Guests often don’t remember what things looked like, but they always remember if their belly was full, they loved their drinks and had a great time! Experience is what sticks in their memories, and yours too ☺️⁠

Bridal attire shopping tips: We know some brides will choose a dress before a venue, but if you want your dress to work *with* your venue’s vibe, get your venue secured ASAP and *then* shop for your dress! ⁠
⁠
Side note: Most dresses take 6-8 months minimum to arrive (unless you’re ordering off-the-rack), so you want to give yourself enough time for alterations and additions. ⁠
⁠
As for your wedding party, don’t ask for options initially… first determine your vision, and then ask if there is any input on say, necklines, shoes, jewelry, etc. You want your favorite people to be comfortable, but also chic and coordinated! ⁠
