Huge shoutout to Gordon Sound for showing us exactly what a vendor partnership looks like.

CME worked two events with Gordon Sound this week, renting sound and slideshow equipment for both. Their team went above and beyond to get everything set up—and when the on-site technology didn’t cooperate, they helped us troubleshoot until we had a solution.

That kind of calm, capable support matters. It protects the experience, keeps the event moving, and gives everyone else the confidence to focus on the people in the room.

Planning, coordination, and officiating can all support your wedding—but they begin in different places.

PLANNING begins while the wedding is still being built. It supports decisions, logistics, vendor relationships, the timeline, and the overall experience as they take shape before the final details are in place.

COORDINATION begins with an established plan. It brings the details together, confirms how the pieces connect, and manages the moving parts when the wedding day arrives. Sometimes it also looks like Chloe quietly stepping in for a quick dress adjustment while the bride remains present with the people around her.

OFFICIATING centers on the ceremony itself. It provides the person who helps prepare for and lead the moment when you officially become married.

A wedding rehearsal is about more than showing everyone where to stand.

It gives everyone involved a chance to understand the flow, practice key cues, ask questions, and know what to expect before the day begins. That foundation helps replace uncertainty with confidence, and there can still be plenty of laughter along the way.

When CME guides a rehearsal, the goal isn’t rigid perfection. It’s helping everyone feel comfortable and prepared so the couple can enter the ceremony focused on what the moment means, not what happens next.

These are the moments a thoughtful wedding timeline protects.

Time to finish the conversation. Time to take in the room. Time to laugh through the toast, stay on the dance floor, hold each other a little longer, and enjoy the people who came to celebrate with you.

A timeline shouldn’t make the wedding day feel rigid or rushed. It should give the day enough structure that the couple doesn’t have to keep watching the clock, wondering what comes next, or leaving a meaningful moment before they’re ready.

Because the goal isn’t simply to keep the day moving. It’s to create room for you to experience it.
