Nosek Mc Creery Funeral Care & Life Center

Nosek Mc Creery Funeral Care & Life Center Nosek McCreery Life Center is a place to joyously and jubilantly celebrate: Life Lived, Life Loved,

We are a family owned and operated funeral home and event center that has been caring for families in Cleveland, Ohio and it's surrounding communities for over 120 years. Founded in 1890 by Anton Nosek, the firm was originally located in the old Broadway area of Cleveland. Upon Anton's death in 1935, his sons Yaro and Edward carried the business into its second generation. Yaro's son Norman succee

ded him in 1952, expanding the firm to include homes in North Randall and Brecksville. Norman was proud to have his daughters, Norayne McCreery and Karen Ge**er, continue the firm into its fourth generation from the Brecksville location which was established in 1969. Following the death of her husband, Paul, Karen Ge**er retired. Norayne and her husband Dennis (also a funeral director and embalmer) are proud to have their son Scott McCreery carry the family business into the fifth generation. Over the years, The Nosek-McCreery Funeral Directors have earned a fine reputation for the compassionate assistance they provide to individuals and families in their time of bereavement. We strive to maintain that tradition of excellence which has been the firm's hallmark since its establishment over 100 years ago. Scott is not only a funeral director and embalmer but also has a degree in architecture from Kent State University. He has lead the remodeling efforts of the Brecksville building, making in possible to serve families with functions that go well beyond traditional funeral care. Scott has made the facility available for virtually any venue requiring a pleasant, warm, affordable location. He believes this will allow Nosek-McCreery to continue providing the ultimate of care, service and celebration into the next generation.
