This time last May, we were lingering in the magic of Aidan and Alissa’s Palmetto Bluff celebration. Perfectly at home in the Lowcountry, Spanish moss and peach-hued flowers framed the outside of the chapel, creating the most romantic ceremony for late spring. That energy transitioned into a draped reception aglow with warm, ambient lighting.

It remains the quintessential setting for a May wedding. A few days late, but still very much on our minds. Happy Anniversary to the Cullinanes.

Family and friends gathered under a clear tent, centered around a chuppah of sculpted willow, pepper berry branches, and blooming spirea. It was a space designed to feel like a wild spring arbor—lush, intentional, and serene.

This week, we've been back on-site at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, putting the final touches on tonight’s Grand Reopening Celebration. It’s been an incredible process designing for a familiar landmark that has been so thoughtfully reimagined.

It’s not about starting over, but about honoring what’s already there while allowing it to evolve.

For tonight’s celebration, we've approached the design as a continuation of the property’s story, bridging old Miami glamor with a fresh perspective.

From sunset citrus hues to a refreshed coastal aesthetic, we’re celebrating this iconic hotel through a series of designed moments that welcome in a new era.

Before the first speech, before the music starts, before the room fills with applause, atmosphere is already at work. Award season shows us how rooms, lighting, and pacing shape the experience long before a single word is spoken.

The Oscars are remembered for what happens on stage, but the feeling is built long before. The room. The lighting. The way people gather in anticipation. It is the same truth behind any unforgettable celebration.

At A&A’s reception in Palmetto Bluff, the room did the quiet work first. Draping softened the space. Pendant lights cast a warm glow. Layered tables invited guests to linger. A custom dance floor grounded the energy before it ever came alive. Nothing competed for attention, yet everything contributed to the mood.
