Rooftop has officially opened, and that means a new food menu! Come check out the new rooftop and grab yourself some grub!

Temps are getting warmer (finally), and park laps are popping off! That means it's time to meet another NEW RMU ambassador; meet Quinn, aka

Quinn Mamula, he is 19 years old and has been skiing his whole life. Quinn competed in big mountain skiing from ages 8 to 16 and has been freestyle skiing solo ever since. Quin was recently up in Banff getting his level 1 and 2 ski instructors certification, and he is now back in Breck riding for RMU. Quinn is super stoked to be a part of such a cool ski company, and he is pumped to see what’s to come for this already sick year!

Quinn is skiing our Apostle 106 and Rippah 98! If you see Quinn in the park, ripping around, slap his hand and introduce yourself!

Cold temps, good snow, time to meet a new winter ambassador; welcome new winter ambassador

Katie was born and raised in Edwards, CO, now a Breckenridge local who's been skiing since before she could walk. By day, Katie hustles for Red Bull, but her real passion lies in coaching the CU Freeskiing team. Katie loves RMU for making killer skis right here in her backyard – those Apostle 106s are her go-to for ripping anything from cruising all mountain to popping booters in the backcountry. Katie grew up with a racing background but have found her home in chasing surfy, creative, chargy lines wherever the fall line takes her. Whether she is coaching the next generation of shredders or just exploring her backyard, Katie knows her RMUs will always have her back.

Katie is skiing our Apostle 106, 176 this season. If you see her around, steal a Redbull and slap her hand ✋️

RMU Community, meet Laurel Bartalon aka a *NEW* RMU Ski Ambassador.

Laurel Bartalon started skiing for work at Breck in 2018. During COVID, she unlocked a love for sliding rails. Today, she loves all forms of skiing, but you can usually find her in the park. In the summer, Laurel likes hiking trails at Copper, going on the RMU girls' Ride-O, and spending most evenings at the Frisco dirt jumps. Her goals for the season include trying more tricks on jumps, graduating from CMC, and making more friends in and out of the park!

Find in the park or at the shop! Be sure to slap her hand if you see her around!

Laurel will be riding our Rippah this season.

With the first Colorado resort opening, it's time to introduce the new ambassadors of RMU!

Meet a new face to the RMU Ambassador Team:

Renner Skidmore is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder from Bozeman, Montana. He spends his time skiing, biking, scrambling mountains, fishing, and anything else in the mountains of Colorado and Montana. This year, Renner is wrapping up school, filming for Entourage Productions' next movie, and competing in FWQs. Renner is looking forward to ripping with RMU this season and working with the team to promote their sustainability initiatives on and off the slopes.

Renner will be asking our Apostle 106 TICKETS, 192. If you seen him around the mountain or the shop, slap his hand and give him a big welcome!

Who doesn't love the smell of a chainsaw in the early morning?!

Our marketing guy had the pleasure of doing some trailwork with this past week. They cleared over 25 downed trees on the Georgia Pass section of the Colorado Trail in Summit County. This section is clear and good to go!

If you want to help with trail work, check Instagram and be sure to sign up in advance. Also, a yearly membership is only $50/year and goes towards tools and projects to keep Summit County rippin trail all year long!

Our Story

RMU was founded in 2008, building skis in a garage. Today, RMU is a Mountain Culture Company. Breckenridge is home to our first Retail + Bar location which serves as our culture hub where we hold ski press clinics, outdoor education classes, fundraisers, community bike meet ups, demo our skis in the winter and offer Transition demo bikes in the summer. We also have a beer garden in the summer and live music Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Our second location in Whistler, Canada opened in December 2019.

We offer full bike service at our shop. Tune packages start at $60 (and include a free beer from our Tavern!). Bike drop off is available anytime the shop is open. You can also book a service appointment ahead of time here: https://rmuservice.as.me/

NEW summer 2020: The RMU Taco Truck, featuring a variety of slow roasted street style tacos including al pastor, chicken tinga, barbacoa, sweet potato with homemade salsa.
