Weather today was just too perfect so decided to try first attempt at family pics for Christmas cards this year. Adding another one in the mix made using a tripod and trying to think of poses and two kids to smile interesting. Thinking we will try again tomorrow but always a fun challenge to see what we can get. If you want to know settings on my canon r5 let me know and I can make another reel or message settings! We had it set to take a picture every second and auto focus on our eyes! My voice annoys the heck out of me but enjoy the real behind the scenes of trying to get my 2 year old and 3 month old to smile!

Flashback to taking Christmas card pictures last year with the tripod and the self timer with the canon. The camera being able to track focus and being able to take 99 images one second apart is such a game changer for self portraits. Crazy it’s already time to start planning Christmas card pictures again with baby brother this year.

Picked up these flowers from Trader Joe’s on Monday to do a fun shoot with Jesse and finally got enough energy to throw something together today.

Busy season is in full swing so doing fun creative shoots isn’t always the easiest when I feel like i’m drowning in edits and living on very little sleep but so happy I I made these happen today.

Jesse Kate only lasted like ten minutes before she was over having flowers in her socks. lol But love what I was able to get!

If I ever did a mini session with a bunch of these flowers would anyone be interested? I could order some more crochet head wraps if I had interest too. It would be so cute for a mommy and me.

I shot these when it was still too bright out so played around with the edits bc the colors were interesting but so many cute things I could do around this theme if I actually took the time to plan!

I am so behind on sharing any of my recent work on here (as always)

This was such a fun branding session I got to photograph for a local florist that has the cutest shop downtown Breaux Bridge.



She had such a fun vision for this shoot and I had a blast helping bring it to life.

How long has it been since you updated your family pictures?

One thing I can promise: you will never regret investing in photos. Time goes by so quickly, and there’s nothing better than having those little moments frozen in time to look back on forever.
I still have a few mini session spots left for this fall!

It's the PERFECT way to get a ton of candid and posed pictures in a quick 20-30 min session! Somehow I always manage to deliver at least 100 plus edited images. I will lead and direct you the entire time and get all those cute shots. I also will be sending out all the inspo for the best outfits and colors and textures that are most flattering in picture this week.

Since Colter Lee decided to make his appearance almost 3 weeks early I was able to add three more dates to my fall mini sessions!

I added one more date in Gonzales since the other two spots are almost completely booked. Monday October 6th.

And added another Saturday and Sunday at my house in Breaux Bridge on September 27th and 28th!

Never would of dreamed less than 10 days after taking these pictures I’d be holding Colter Lee in my arms! Happy we got to squeeze in some beach time and took out the tripod for some maternity beach pictures before little man made his arrival almost 3 weeks early! I posted on my Facebook but always forget to post on here too and wanted these to live on my feed.
