📸 A Friendly Reminder About Copyright and Photography

As photographers, our images are our intellectual property. They are protected by copyright the moment we create them.

Using another photographer's images from Facebook, Pinterest, Google, Instagram, or any other platform without permission is copyright infringement—even if you add "Inspo," "Not my photo," or "Credit to the original photographer" in the caption.

Simply stating that an image inspired you does not give you the legal right to repost, share, or use that photograph in your marketing, social media, advertisements, website, or business materials.

Many photographers invest years developing their style, skills, and portfolio. Their work deserves the same respect and protection that you would want for your own images.

If you want to share another photographer's work:

✅ Ask for permission first
✅ Share directly from the original source when possible
✅ Use platform sharing features instead of downloading and reposting
✅ Create your own inspiration boards privately rather than publicly posting others' images
