Hello! Just wanted to offer a post to say hi, miss yall, love yall. It’s been a while since this group has been active and I’m bummed about that, especially during a time of such acute need for q***r joy. For those who don’t know, this group was initiated by three q***rs, local (at the time) to Southern Vermont. A lot has changed for the three of us over the past couple of years. And speaking for myself, I had a baby! I hope to return to organizing sometime in the next year. If you’re interested in joining me, please reach out! With love and gratitude, Caroline💜

"This Conference, organized by Out In The Open, Outright and Pride Center of VT, will create a collaborative space to host the many intersections of health and wellness work within the 2STLGBQIA+ people-centered care models. There will be healthcare provider specific content, community learning/practice spaces, lived-experience storytelling, and social convergence spaces that help strengthen all our relationships. An additional aim of the Conference is to increase capacity and ensure access to quality, culturally-affirming medical and mental health care for traditionally underserved communities, including 2STLGBQIA+ people who hold intersecting identities."

We estimate that around 100 people flowed through our second Q***r Soup Night at the Retreat Farm's North Barn!! 🥰🍲 Chef Bex prepared 10 gallons of delicious soup for this gathering and nearly all of it was enjoyed! Because of the generosity of those who attended, and some who donated even though they couldn't make it, we will be able to donate $500 to Vermont Transmasc Camp. 🌲🌟 This donation will help cover BIPOC registration fees and to offer financial assistance to folks who might not be able to attend otherwise. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈Thank you friends! We can't wait to see you at our next QSN!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Point of Pride is now accepting applications.

Point of Pride’s Annual Transgender Surgery Fund is a scholarship-like program that provides direct financial assistance to trans folks who cannot afford their gender-affirming surgery.

Another precious evening in the books! Q***r Soup Night was an incredible success. Shout out to our amazing chef, Bex, our volunteers, Retreat Farm for having us in their gorgeous new space, and to all you cuties who showed up and ate delicious soup with us. We are so grateful for our community! (Ps if you also took some sweet pics at the event please send them to us so we can post!)
