The Nest Concert Venue A cozy, intimate venue focused on growing the original songwriting community in Southwest Missouri.

When Tom and Andrea Brett opened a beautiful new medical office in the heart of Branson, they noticed a special conference room that wasn't living up to its potential. As musicians and songwriters, and hosts to many "jam jams" in the basement of their own home, they began to envision this space as a venue for aspiring artists who might be intimidated by large stages, but need a place to hone their

craft. They also realized that there are many professional musicians who would love a small, intimate place to share their music - where they could be more personal with their audience. Inspired by the rustic decor of their beautiful clinic in the Ozarks, and the concept of a nest being a place to be nurtured in, fly away from, and return to, the name "The Nest," was born. The Nest is a cozy, intimate venue focused on growing the original songwriting community in Southwest Missouri. We host full length concerts for singer/songwriters, “Jam Jams” for songwriters to share their works in progress, “Writers Round" concerts featuring original songs and stories by 3-4 artists, and various other concerts and events. The Nest also partners with the “Hooked” Songwriting Contest Competition - Southwest Missouri’s premiere songwriting contest.

Hey y'all! I'm sad to announce that we need to cancel the Jam Jam scheduled for November 21st! The truth is, Tom, Brydon, and I are doing a concert in The Nest on Saturday morning, and since Brydon is flying in from Utah, Friday night is the only night we have to rehearse. Because of the holidays, our next open mic Jam Jam won't be until January, but you definitely will want to come to come to the Jam Jam Christmas Concert on December 12! A dozen Jam Jam artists will each be singing an original Christmas song! We'll have wassail and treats and it will be a cozy Christmasy night! So plan on that! In the meantime, have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are definitely thankful for all of YOU!
