✨️Ambassador Spotlight✨️
Meet Josh aka Zinny! Our ambassador for the Abyssal Sea realms!
Joshua Taylor is a seasoned veteran in the Live Action Roleplay and Ren Faire communities. In 2020, he began developing characters online on TikTok and Instagram. What started as a way to connect with others during a pandemic quickly unearthed a passion for providing an escape from the mundane world through humor and fantasy. It also revealed a love for tailoring. Joshua takes pride in sewing costumes for himself and others - everything Zinny wears was handmade in his home sewing studio.

Zinny is the barkeeper and owner of the Crooked Mast Tavern. Through his quick wit and plenty of sass, he has become an online favorite and has appeared at LARP events throughout New England. He is honored to be Ambassador for the Abyssal Seas and promises to try to stay out of trouble (although he can’t make any promises for his trusty sidekick Snicker).

We will have a costume contest during the ball based on four categorized realms for this party. In the bar room, we will have a costume contest table to enter and place votes! Winners will be crowned at the end of the ball. Can't wait to see all our attendees!

Join and some of the bookmarked team for a relaxed afternoon of mingling, costumes (optional but welcome!), and bookish connection at the beautiful Wickham Park in Manchester, CT. Whether you're in full fantasy flair, regency form, or your comfiest picnic fit, come as you are and enjoy a space where we can be our creative selves:

🌿 A casual, free gathering for creatives, photographers, book lovers, and cosplayers
🧺 Bring-your-own-picnic setup if you wish to get comfortable and lounge!
🎭 Costumes encouraged but not required
🚶‍♀️ Group strolls through some of the gardens
🤝 A chance to unwind and build new friendships
AND snap a few fun photos together (optional)
