🚨 Wedding Guest Etiquette: A Few Things We Wish Everyone Knew 🚨
Your wedding day should be filled with happy tears, beautiful memories, and zero unnecessary stress. Here are a few simple ways guests can help make that happen (share this post to drop a hint):
✨ Arrive when the invitation says the doors open, not an hour early while vendors are still setting up.
✨ Please don't wander into reception spaces before they're open. We promise it'll be worth the wait!
✨ Keep phones tucked away during the ceremony. Your photographer can't capture that perfect aisle moment if they're photographing a sea of screens.
✨ Follow the dress code. If the couple requests cocktail attire, black tie, or garden party, they're helping set the tone for their celebration.
✨ And perhaps the biggest one of all...
🍾 DO NOT bring outside alcohol. Ever.
Even if it's "just one drink."
Even if you don't like what's being served.
Even if you think nobody will notice.
Most venues have strict licensing, insurance, and safety requirements. Outside alcohol can put the venue, vendors, and even the couple at risk. If alcohol is provided, enjoy what's available. If not, please respect the couple's wishes.
A wedding is one of the few days in life that truly isn't about the guests. The best gift you can give a couple is helping them enjoy every moment without worrying about what might go wrong. đź’•
