Let’s be honest… somewhere along the way, dating lost its purpose.
It became about attention.
About validation.
About passing time.
About filling loneliness.
But that’s not what God designed it for.
Dating isn’t meant to be a game or a temporary fix.
It’s meant to be intentional.
The real reason for dating is to discern:
“Is this the person I can build a God-centered life with?”
Not “Do they make me feel good right now?”
But “Can we grow, pray, and stand together long term?”
Because in God’s eyes, the end goal isn’t just chemistry…
it’s covenant.
Marriage isn’t just a milestone — it’s a commitment before God.
A partnership.
A covering.
A calling.
So instead of dating just to date…
date with purpose.
Protect your heart.
Ask deeper questions.
Pay attention to character over charm.
And most importantly — invite God into it from the beginning.
Because when He’s the foundation,
you’re not just building a relationship…
you’re building something that lasts.
