Today is opening day at Boysnberries Farm! I only had a few of these Penhill Watermelon dahlia tubers, so if you want to snag them, you may want to arrive around when they open at 10 a.m. today!

If these lovelies aren't your style, there are dozens more varieties to choose from as well as a huge array of Boys n' Berries' high-quality annual flowers and vegetables.

The dahlia varieties you see in this arrangement, and dozens more, will be available at Boysnberries Greenhouse starting on opening day, this Saturday May 1st!

In this arrangement I made last year, I used dahlia "Ivanetti," which are a lovely burgundy color with purple tones and a ball shape, and "Lover Boy" which is a vibrant red and has a pleasing array of pointed petals.

Better late than never, right?
I created this automatic crop planner spreadsheet after a video on my YouTube channel garnered a number of people asking for the spreadsheet I created to plan all of my plantings.

It's an Excel spreadsheet that is set up with three worksheets. Each worksheet automatically calculates two of the following dates, based on your input of the remaining date:

- The date to plant your seeds,
- The date to transplant seedlings outdoors,
- The approximate date the plant will mature

All you have to do is add some of the data from your seed packet or seed website, and your chosen dates, and it will populate the schedule for you!

I’m accepting orders now through Saturday midnight with options for either contact-free delivery to your home or pickup at Open City Thrift in Brainerd on Wednesday the 25th.
You might notice I’m in the process of transitioning to a new online store platform that hopefully will be much more functional for me. My new store does not have any dried flower or wreath listings yet. I will be working on adding those over the next couple days, with an option for pickup or delivery on the 25th as well.

Gorgeous work by Hawley Hill Gardens! Look at those dahlias shine!

Feeling so fortunate to have hosted at the farm yesterday for a shoot. I’m loving the sneak peak photos she’s shared with me so far. 🥰

This summer has just been so busy and honestly super exhausting in many ways. It was a great opportunity for me to finally take some time this year to focus on a bit of design work and create something beautiful. ✨

These are the last flowers of the year after yesterday's freeze! Get yourself some beautiful, locally-grown Hawley Hill Gardens flowers at Crow Wing Food Co-op before they're gone until next summer!

Frost bit us hard last night and we were only able to save a few things, so our fresh bouquet season ended early this year. Get over to the co-op and grab a last bit of summer while you can!

This is the last week of our summer CSA program! This week’s soft autumn bouquets include:
