A few things:
1. I have a major case of the Mondays. Not sure about you but this cold Monday morning has been wishing I was staying in my robe and watching a rom com all day. .
But alas, that’s not what I’ll be doing.
2. I did make myself a cute little flat white with some hazelnut syrup though so it’s helping (double shot of course.
3. Apparently there’s a new feature in instagram to roll out different shaped images … so let’s try it.
4. This wedding is a full on throw back to a small elopement in 2020 where the ceremony was supposed to be outside on a dock next to a cute little pond —- but it’s October in Montana— and the weather didn’t cooperate. So reminder to always have a plan B.
That’s all, hope you enjoy this little throw back.

Ever have one of those stretches where you look up and realize it’s been a week since you’ve shared a thing? Same.
Sometimes this work sweeps you all the way in — the long hours, the creative problem-solving, the art, the physicality (20k+ steps a day adds up fast). It takes every part of you… and sometimes, a few quiet days to recover.

But here we are — rested, grateful, and back at it. We have two more beautiful events to close out the year, and then… something I’ve been dreaming about for years: a workshop in one of my bucket-list places. ✨
Three more weeks, a lot of flowers, and a whole lot of heart between now and then — and I couldn’t be more excited.

Timeless, effortless, sophisticated.
While we’d never call our work traditional, we do believe in creating designs that feel timeless. Each event is crafted to belong to its surroundings — elevated, unique, and reflective of the couple at its heart. With care, intention, and a deep respect for design, we create florals that feel like they’ve always had a home there — and always will.

THE SUMMER I REALIZED THAT PEOPLE LOVE TO LEARNING OTHER PEOPLES MECHANICS.
Our first ever floral tip video from last February but including as a reshare — even though it seems that the majority of people watching these videos might already know this hack.
Basic floral mechanics here— how to wire ranunculus.
This method can be used for many different varieties. Wiring in general can used in different applications for so many different florals but perhaps not straight down the center — orchids, for example, can be wired but require a different technique.
Although, 10 years in, and someone this summer told me they wore all of their sweet pea and I felt a little mind blown. So here you are.
Anything else people are curious about?

Hi, I’m Sue — owner and creative director of Wild Blume.
This morning I was writing a letter of recommendation for a young woman who has worked with me every summer for the past five years. Thinking about her growth made me reflect on the evolution of this business — and how it’s been an unexpected joy to witness the growth of the people who have been alongside it.
Wild Blume was founded on the belief that floral design is both art and story. Flowers carry emotion, they create connection, and they have the power to transform a space into an experience. Over the past ten years, that vision has remained at the heart of our work. Every arrangement and installation is guided by a commitment to artistry, intention, and collaboration. Just as meaningful is the community that makes it possible — the talented teams who help bring these designs to life and this community here who continues to connect with our work.
And since some of you are new around here, a few details about me:
•Studio/design habit: I will sing along to every song I know (and probably a few I don’t).
•Caffeine fuel of choice on event days: SF Redbull — these days the new Wild Berries flavor — or a classic Diet Coke.
•Background: I played college soccer, studied Psychology and Communications, and spent nearly a decade in publishing before stepping into flowers with no formal experience — each of these shaped the discipline, curiosity, and storytelling that help define Wild Blume today.
•Floral slip-up: I called foliage “foilage” for years… and honestly, I still catch myself sometimes.
•Confession: I like to think I’m funny. At the very least, I keep the studio entertained.
•Non-floral passions: getting outside, reading, food, wine, and people.
•Studio must-haves: great tunes, snacks, and the incredible designers I’m lucky enough to call collaborators and friends.
Thank you for being a part of this community!

For now, we’ll start this story here… From the moment this wedding hit my inbox I knew it would be a special one.
The palette, the fun design.. anMackenzie Bauer Peaceto know the sweet bride (and her mom) it was obvious that I (and the team) would love creating for it.
A really beautiful ceremony, complete by a double rainbow (last slide)… is there anything more magical?
Always grateful for the trust on these important days.
