A perfect fall day was the backdrop for Casey and Thomas as they tied the knot on a very picturesque horse farm in Laytonsville, called The Stables at Rolling Ridge. With lawn games, hors d’oeuvres on the patio, a delicious meal, the cutest dessert table, and an evening fire pit, the guests at their wedding had a great time! The ceremony was beautiful, in the middle of a grove of trees, complete with a processional across a stone covered bridge. Casey was so incredibly organized and thought of every detail in her planning. Thomas was very supportive and helpful, always with a smile and a kind word. They are so in love, and are the sweetest couple! I was so lucky to get to coordinate their big day for them!

Last weekend, Nicole and Gustavo had the most perfect day! The weather was gorgeous while they tied the knot in a garden ceremony overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. They chose Herrington on the Bay as their venue. The Herring Bay Garden was an exquisite location for a ceremony, with lots of flowers in bloom and the beach and water in the background. Their cocktail hour and reception was at the Herrington Yacht Club. Cocktails were downstairs, followed by dinner upstairs, and then dancing the night away! Talk about a great party! Flower arrangements were by Willow Oak Flower and Herb Farm. Centerpieces by me! And I got to work with a fabulous vendor team! I’m going g to miss all the planning and late night text messages with Nicole!

Have I mentioned that I love this job? Not only do I get to make dreams come true for my clients, and work in some of the most beautiful settings in the DMV area, but I also get to meet the most inspiring and incredible people! Getting to work with Rachel and Josh on their Strathmore Mansion wedding earlier this month was truly such a wonderful experience! I had the pleasure of decorating the mansion with stunning dark green, gold, and white decor; coordinating the sweetest wedding party on the day-of; and working with some of the best vendors. But greatest of all, I get to say that I gained a new friend in Rachel, whom I bonded with right away! My job is the best!

I am so lucky to have an amazing sister-in-law, whom I adore and love beyond measure! It was my greatest pleasure to design and plan her baby shower to celebrate her and the new addition to our family! The event took place at the William Penn Inn, and the decor matched the theme for baby’s nursery. How adorable!

What a cute idea for a cake topper - Polaroid photos of the bride and groom taken after the ceremony! Also, I was so impressed with Jazlyn’s three dresses - a traditional ceremony gown; a silky, flowy dress for cocktails, hula, and dinner; and an awesome sparkly reception party dress! She looked amazing!

I have the best job! It was such an honor to help Johnae and Darrell create their dream vision for their wedding at Brentsville Hall yesterday! When you’re on a tight budget, you can create some adorable balloon centerpieces using supplies from the DollarTree and Amazon! I made these centerpiece structures for about $2 each, and was able to reuse them three times with different color balloons from Amazon. Talk about bang-for-your-buck! All three events were for children, and they loved them!

I had the best time coordinating Olympia and Aaron's wedding in Alexandria, VA! It was such a pleasure seeing them tie the knot. A perfect October day was the backdrop to this gorgeous wedding that took place in Frederick and Harpers Ferry. It truly was an "Autumn Dream!" Thank you to Love & Sol Photography for capturing these amazing photos! I was honored to assist the bride and groom as their wedding planner.
